Equipments

1 Mixer Grinder
1 Big Glass Bowl

Ingredients

  • 3 Betel Leaves
  • 2 cups Chilled Milk
  • 1 cup Vanilla Ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons Gulkand (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar/as per required (optional)
  • 2 cup Milk
  • Few Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  • Start by thoroughly washing the betel leaves to remove any dirt or impurities. Once clean, finely chop or tear them into smaller pieces.
    2. Take a medium sized bowl, put paan leaves, gulkand and fennel seeds.
    3. In a blender, transfer the chopped betel leaves, gulkand (ifusing) and fennel seeds. Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
    4. Now add green food colour. It is optional.
    5. Afterwards, put 2 tablespoon vanilla ice-cream in the prepared mixture. You can use strawberry flavored ice cream also.
    6. Now pour 2 cups chilled milk. We can use almond milk also.
    7. If desired, you can add  a few ice cubes to make the milkshake even colder and more refreshing.
    8. Taste the milkshake and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or condensed milk if needed.
    9. Once blended to your desired consistency and taste, pour the paan milkshake into serving glasses.
    10. Optionally, you can garnish the milkshake with a sprinkle of chopped nuts, a drizzle of rose syrup, or a betel leaf on top for added presentation.

Notes

  • The sweetness of the milkshake can be adjusted according to personal preference. It's best to start with a smaller amount of sweetener and gradually add more if desired.
  • Gulkand, a sweet preserve made from rose petals, adds a distinct flavor to the paan milkshake. However, it is optional and can be omitted if not available.
  • It's important to choose fresh, high-quality betel leaves for the milkshake to ensure the best taste. Look for leaves that are vibrant green and free from blemishes.
  • The texture of the milkshake can be adjusted by varying the amount of ice cream and milk. Adding more ice cream will result in a thicker consistency, while increasing the milk will make it lighter.
  • Garnishing the milkshake with chopped nuts or a drizzle of rose syrup adds an extra touch of visual appeal and flavor.
