Rooh Afza Sharbat Recipe Card

Summer drink Rooh Afza made with cold water and ice cubes makes it more chilled. Sabja seeds gives it an extra flavor and good for health.

Ingredients

  • 3.5 cups Cold Water
  • 4-5 tablespoons Rooh Afza syrup/add as required
  • ½ tablespoon Sweet Basil Seeds (sabja seeds(optional))
  • 4-5 Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Soak the sabja seeds in 3/4 of water for 1 hour.
    2. When the seeds swell and become plump, using a fine strainer, drain the water and set the soaked sabja seeds aside.
    3. Take a serving glass and add 2 tablespoons of Rooh Afza syrup to it. Also add the soaked sabja seeds.
    4. Add a few ice cubes to the glass to chill the sarbath further.
    5. Pour 1 cup of chilled water into the glass.
    6. Stir the mixture well until the Rooh Afza syrup is completely dissolved in the water.
    7. Optionally, you can garnish the sarbath with fresh mint leaves for added aroma and presentation.
    8. Stir the sarbath once again to mix the flavors evenly.
    9. Your Rooh Afza Sarbath is ready to be enjoyed!
    Serve it immediately and savor the refreshing and aromatic taste.

  • The recommended ratio for mixing Rooh Afza syrup with water is one part syrup to five parts water, but this can be adjusted according to personal preference.
  • Rooh Afza is also used in various culinary applications such as milkshakes, lassis, falooda, ice creams, and desserts.
  • Storage recommendations include keeping the syrup in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
