How to make Jaljeera Masala
- In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon dry mango powder, 1/2 tablespoon black salt, a pinch of asafoetida.
- In a pan, add 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, few black peppercorns dry roast on medium flame.
- Transfer this into a bowl, add salt to taste and 1/4 cup sugar.
- Transfer this into a grinder jar and grind it into a fine powder.
- Keep in an airtight container for further use.

- In a bowl, take 1/2 inch ginger(sliced), 3/4 cup coriander leaves, 1 cup mint leaves. Transfer this into a grinder jar and grind it into a smooth paste.
- Filter this paste into a large bowl.
- Make sure that filteration process should be done very neatly as if some thick particles go through it, then it will come into the mouth.
- Now add 1 teaspoon lime juice & 2 tablespoon prepared masala in the filtered mixture.
- Pour into a glass served with few ice cubes and garnished with boondi.
